With Locum Medical as your staffing company, you can have access to physicians who not only meet your technical qualifications but who have been screened to be a better match for your facility. Our attention to detail will make your job easier.
What to expect when you work with us:
- A Staffing Consultant from one of our locum tenens teams will be your single point of contact. They will learn the details and logistics of your job as well as the necessary "soft" information to profile the work environment for our physician matching process.
- If we don′t have a physician in our database who fits your job, we will post it on our website and multiple subscription based physician job boards at our expense, and our Physician Recruitment team will go to work.
- We will only present you with physicians who are appropriate and available for the job. You are under no obligation until you accept the credentials of our presented candidate.
- Unless other arrangements are made, the physician will be covered under our malpractice policy for any time they work through us at your facility.
- Your Staffing Consultant will coordinate credential verification, licensure issues and necessary privileging.
- If travel is required, our travel department can make efficient, cost-effective arrangements for the physician.
- Prior to the assignment, your Staffing Consultant will host a conference call between you and the physician.
- Once on assignment, the physician will complete a timesheet for you to sign every two weeks. We handle the payroll.
- The Staffing Consultant will check in with you and the physician during and after the assignment to make sure the work is as it should be!
